Join for 11 Days of Love Stories, our annual storytelling festival celebrating the art of play (gaming, music, sports, creativity, etc). The celebration will center around Black & Indigenous joy, mental health, wellness, the arts, economics, education, and time ownership.

Day 1: June 15th Love x Innovation
5 – 8pm | The Lawn at Ucity 3701 Filbert St.
Exploring love and connection through tech and innovation.
Join us for the 11 Days of Love Stories kickoff with interactive presentations featuring Agora World, Jump Button, music by DJ G33k, food, live musical performances, and tech activations.
Day 2: June 16th Poet’s Press Launch
5 – 8pm | Urban Art Gallery, 262 S 52nd St.
Black poets have been trusted voices in the Black community but how does poetry intersect with journalism?
Join us for a reclaiming the headlines workshop, poetry performances, and a panel discussion to launch Love Now Media’s new Poet’s Press.
Day 3: June 17th Film Screening - Just Love Stories
6 – 8pm | PFS at 1412 Chestnut Street in the Greenfield Theater
A documentary film exploring the work of love during a global pandemic.
Featuring Short films by Iresha Picot, Rashid Zakat, Marie Hinson, Tezarah Wilkins and Jos Duncan Asé.
Day 4: June 18th Love Our City Youth Talent Show
5 – 8pm | Columbia North YMCA, 1400 N. Broad St.
Calling youth ages 5-21, come share your talent in the name of love!
1st place, $500; 2nd place $250; 3rd place $150 in prizes. Get your tickets or sign up today.
Day 5: June 19th Paint Party for the People
2 – 6pm | Malcolm X Park, 5100 Pine St.
Create your own painting inspired by Black love with the help of local artists from Mural Arts Philadelphia and ECBACC Painters.
Day 6: June 20th Narrative Justice & the News
3 – 4:30pm | Zoom (registration required)
Join Love Now Media and the Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists (PABJ) for a transparent panel discussion about narrative harm in news and how to heal.
Day 7: June 21st Food, Play & Love
6 – 8pm | Atiya Ola’s Spirit Foods, 310 48th St.
Explore storytelling at the intersection of love and food. Enjoy a workshop and cooking class.
Day 10: June 24th Daytime Dance Party
3 – 6pm | Love Park, 16th and Arch Sts.
Join us for social dancing led by some of our areas beloved movement leaders. Featuring music by DJ G33k.
Day 8: June 22nd Gift of the Griot
6 – 8pm | Philly Cam, 699 Ranstead St.
Featuring renowned storytellers Charlotte Blake Alston, Atiba Wilson, and Linda Humes.
Day 11: June 25th Songs for the Soul
5 – 9pm | Sera Phi, 939 N Front St.
Finale interactive music concert with Solomon Temple and friends.
Live band and painter, food, and drinks.
Day 9: June 23rd Black Comics Storytelling Workshop
6 – 8pm | Amalgam Comics & Coffeehouse, 2578 Frankford Ave.
