Susan C. Small

Creative Director

Susan C. Small is an award-winning playwright, recording artist, and children’s book author dedicated to fostering diversity in the arts. As the founder and Artistic Director of Small House Productions, a nonprofit production company based in Philadelphia, Susan champions inclusion and representation in the performing arts. In 2020, during the global pandemic, she expanded her impact by launching Small House Publishing, a platform that empowers authors of color to share their stories and navigate the book publishing process.  

In 2024, Susan joined the Love Now Magazine team as Creative Director, further showcasing her talent and vision in the creative arts industry.  

A proud mother of four and a licensed minister, Susan combines her creativity and faith to inspire positive change in her community. Through her work, she encourages individuals to discover and embrace their purpose, leaving a legacy of hope and transformation.
