Love Now Media’s editorial team attended the ‘No Arena’ rally held in Center City on September 7th. People came from all over the city to voice their opposition to the $1.55 Billion arena.

Crowds gathered in rain-soaked ‘No Arena’ shirts to belt, sing, and shout their support for the enduring legacy of Philly’s Chinatown, a community that has taken hit after hit but never once stood down. Allies such as members of the Apache Stronghold, Save U.C. Townhomes Coalition, Power Interfaith, and more spoke during the speaking session, amplifying their support for the movement.

As Love Now Media works to uplift the voices of those most urgently seeking justice, wellness, and equity, we share these images to shine a light on those in Chinatown raising their voices to preserve the culture and history of Chinatown.
