As we approach the end of another monumental year at Love Now Media and Love Now Magazine, we wish to take a moment to express our gratitude and acknowledge those who attended our Love Now Live event on the 5th of December. Thank you for joining us to celebrate the release of the highly anticipated Winter issue of Love Now Magazine!
The evening featured twin sisters AAries, the very first duo to grace the cover, as headliners. Sharing the stage was healer and artist Kuan Young, who took us on a sonic journey with his sound bowl performance, and the musical visionary Neptune XXI energized the crowd with her soulful and rhythmic rap. Philadelphia’s current Poet Laureate and Germantown native Kai Davis carried the unapologetic and honest beat of the cultural moment we’re in, and founder and creator of the Colored Girls Museum, Vashti Dubois, shared a candid conversation with Love Now Magazine publisher Jos Duncan-Asé about creating the museum as a love letter to Black women and girls.
It’s important we carry forth all of the lessons learned and prioritize our collective care so we can greet the new year with a fresh outlook.
Each story in this issue relates to healing, exploring the intersecting experiences of physical, mental, and spiritual recovery. Together, let’s continue our commitment and support one another on our journeys toward healing and transformation.
