PHILADELPHIA, PA (June 23, 2023) – As the soft life movement continues to rise in the pandemic’s wake, Love Now Media announces the return of Lunch & Love, the media company’s four-part event series that will invite participants to explore the resistance of grind culture and living a “soft life.” The conversations will be held weekly on Thursdays at noon from July 6th – July 27th and feature Love Now Media’s 2023 Love Ambassadors in conversation with Syreeta Martin, Director of Programs and Communications.
“Many of our lives, pre-pandemic, were defined and governed by grind culture. Since then, we’ve sat with ourselves and some hard truths about life as we knew it. At its core, these conversations offer more context for what vulnerability, love, and authenticity can look and feel like. They invite us to reimagine and redesign a future rooted in wellness,” said Martin.
In April 2023, the four ambassadors were identified as individuals who lead, learn and lean into their respective communities with love. They use their influence and platform(s) for acts of love that advocate for social justice, wellness, and/or equity. The Lunch & Love conversations and featured Love Ambassadors are:
